How do you help someone, who knows they need help, but refuses help? How do you help them understand that it's ok to accept or even ask for help? And on top of it all, how can they expect anyone in their right mind to just sit back and watch them? It's like watching a mouse trying to climb out of a 5 gallon bucket. It can't do it alone. It starts going and slides back down. BLAH. It's frustrating.

  1. All you can do is love them, tell them that you are there for them when they are ready and then pray your little heart out that they ask for it. Unfortunately you can't do more than that, because everyone has their agency. Don't you think Heavenly Father feels the same way about us sometimes?

  2. Yeah, I suppose you are right. It's hard to watch people hurt themselves more though.

I'm sure Heavenly Father is sick and tired of me complaining about something or messing up and never asking for help...That is a good point. Thanks :)
